IHHP can tailor a project to suit your needs. We pride our self in listening to communities needs and working stakeholders to create engaging programs/projects and campaigns. We guarantee the most talented, professional and creative artists Australia has to offer. Ideally projects are scheduled over a intensive weeklong period, however we are happy to adjust our visit as required.
Projects run over a week and will endeavour to include a balanced combination of male and female artists for each community project.
IHHP will facilitate the National Leadership Camp with the aim to identify a minimum group of 25 hip hop leaders, from the communities visited, to develop as future youth leaders who will facilitate and support ongoing local and regional hip hop workshops and competitions that incorporate themes of personal responsibility, transformational leadership and community development.
The group of youth leaders will comprise of an important step towards sustainable development. IHHP intend to identify 2-3 stand-out elite performers and leaders from within this group and will contract them as Trainee Artists to tour other communities in their region and across Australia. The National Leadership Camp is held over a week in Melbourne at the end of each year. Please contact IHHP for more information.
The outcomes achieved from IHHP workshops are significant emotional, physical and mental health benefits for participants and communities. The workshops will use the energy and enthusiasm of hip hop music, dance and safe talk, to enable young people to make their own healthy life choices and maximise educational and economic opportunities. The projects are designed to provide a forum where participants can try new activities, challenge negative (self) perceptions, build positive relationships and learn new skills.
