Coming from a small country town i headed to Sydney to study at
NAISDA DANCE COLLEGE.
Performed shows for Naisda :fresh water, no answer
and refs party and the private gigs.
Sydney Olympic games 2000 opening/closing dancing
for Stephen Page started this love relationship for dance.
... but nothing could beat GARMA festival dancing
on red dust and the bright flood lights.
Remote community dance work placments/workshops/
festivals in
Alice Springs, Tennent Creek, Darwin, Badu Island, Thursday Island,
Yirrkala, willowra, Yuendumu, Kintore, Ikuntji, Titjikala and Nyirippi
all off these communities in the last 4 years going back n forth
.. also the Dance awards the Deadlys and Deadly days
Trad in Aborignal/Torris strait/Hula (south sea island) dance.
And now I've started my first year with IHHP beginning
my first tour at Ballarat than headed to Sydney for the Royal Easter
Show, last but not least Tasmania....
Over the 5 weeks that this was all done I've had
the best time meeting the whole crew off IHHP, each place brought
something new and more stories to add too my collection, and with
every community i have been too the talent off the kids that we
work with is proper DEADLY. Im loving working with IHHP these mob
in this crew are deadly and were all bringing our own STYLE to
you..
