Paul Burragen

My name is Paul Burragen Craft from Springbrook Mountain SE Queensland, aboriginal place name is 'Goongwarra' or Gwongorella means Dancing Water.
I am a Bundjalung Man.

I am the Grandson of George Roberts born in Yamba Northern NSW 1925.

I am a Boomerang maker and thrower, i was taught by my grandfather who was taught by his grandfather.
I love teaching people how to throw the many and various types of both traditional and contempory throwing sticks, boomerangs and tools.

Throwing boomerangs in the Australian National Championships 2008 I realised being the only Indigenous person at the event how we needed to start training our young people to injoy and posssibly compete both Nationaly and Internationaly for our people and country and eventually to have our own National Aboriginal team.

I am now 45 years of age, I have no grandchildren and I would love to share my passion of both boomerang making and throwing with our young people.
