Background

Alex Noguchi was inspired to dance in late October 2005 through his high school friend who combined their efforts to form a B-Boy (Breakdance) crew known as Notorious Delinkwentz/Delinkwentz Nation. Taught by numerous b-boys he began competing in Victorian-based competitions regularly from 2006, which intensified his training and ambition to advance his b-boying. Before his b-boy career, Alex was heavily involved in elite gymnast for 10 years; representing nationally and internationally every year becoming one of the top gymnasts in Australia training 4 hours a day, 6 days a week at the Victorian Institute Of Sports.

Alex's achievements in gymnastics included, representing Australia in 2000 for the Pacific School Games, obtaining Junior Gymnast of the year in 2004 and coming one place away from being part of the senior team for the Commonwealth Games in 2006.

Alex has been employed part time with Indigenous Hip Hop Projects since May 2008 and has been a strong role model for many young Indigenous youth around Australia.
